Good binoculars, poor camera. The camera takes all pictures at 1/30 of a second at f2.8, which is too slow for the magnification of the lens. The pictures are soft,dull and without a tripod mount fuzzy. Mine is going back...

My Celestron VistaPix stopped working shortly after using it. It could be something a simple as a defective on/off switch. Unfortunately, I didn't start using it soon enough to stay within the warranty period. I made a poor choice to buy this item which at best is a novelty. The power source, 4AAA batteries, is an inconvenient and relatively expensive power source. I cannot in good conscience donate it, so it will be discarded.
