I had been meaning to get some night vision all summer. I finally got around to it a decided on this NVMT waterproof. When i first pulled it out of the box and turned it on I noticed that the lenses were very tight. I called Yukon and they told me it was tight becuase of the waterproofing seals and that with some use they would loosen up. They did loosen fairly quickly. The night vision is not complicated at all and infrared light works really well, very bright. I got the 2x magnification so what I was looking at wasn't mulitplied very much. If someone wants to see far I would suggest the 3x or 4x. I didn't rain so I dunked it in my sink just for the hell of it (it was warrantied). Worked fine, I was happy i finally went ahead and bought it. I would recommed it to whomever is intrested.
