This spotting scope from Bushnell is an excellent buy if you are an outdoors person or if you like watching the world from your window.

You can even view the craters on the moon.

Plus it's waterproof and comes with two cases and a tripod.

The amazon price is the best deal on the internet.

Average type of Spotting Scope for the price I paid for it. Tripod not much use,not to stable. Zoom adjust collar is VERY stiff. I must hold tripod in one hand to adjust the eyepiece zoom control with the other hand. Somewhat dissapointed with the item. I could have made a better purchase by buying a BSA or Barska at my local Big 5 store. There I could check scope before purchase.

Not bad for the money spent

I used this scope to spot hits on a target. I was concerned about clarity from distances up to 200 yards away. I was surprised that I was able to spot hits at 200 yards from a .223 round. I used floresent target dots on the black background targets to help with sighting and to aid the scope. If you plan to go beyond 200 yards, you need to invest a little more to get better optics. If 200 yards is your maximum, then this scope will do the job. The hard and soft cases are a nice addition.

I purchased this scope for my husband for Christmas. He was so exstatic when he opened it. He showed me what it did and I was amazed myself. There is a cemetery next to a church that is a good distance away and I was could read the names on the headstones at half magnification. Hubby loved everything about the scope, especially that it came in a case so he didn't worry about messing it up when carrying it around. Doing the research on the spotting scopes really made me smarter about the product and it ensured the pleasure I felt when my husband saw his Christmas gift. He said I did an outstanding job in picking out the perfect scope.

Best purchase when rounding out the survival kit

After setting booby traps for Zombies, I like to whip out my Bushnell Waterproof scope and wait for the oncoming herds to trample on in. This scope is just great because it cuts down on glare and is also waterproof. It is good to have some foreward advancement of options when dealing with the zombies so when you are set up this scope can give you good range in spotting them on your trail!!!

Proving that there's life in the old dog yet, Bushnell have come up with this, the successor to the out-dated, poor-performing Trophy Splashproof Spotting Scope, and I have to say, it's a fantastic improvement. As soon as I took it out of the box I was impressed with its styling, shape, colour, and of course, waterproofness. I set it up in my front room and spent a happy couple of hours watching my neighbours coming and going, and they were oblivious to my surveillance. It's not the most subtle 'scope out there but stick a blanket over your head and you're laughing. Any one who has been caught out in the rain will appreciate this little beauties moulded plastic housing, as water really does roll off it like, erm, water off a duck's back. Stunning.
