These are by far the best pair of binoculars I have ever owned. If you are looking for optics but can't imagine spending this kind of money, don't imagine just do it. Overall the fit and feel of these is great. The rubber coating is thick and uniform, the eyepieces are comfortable and optics themselves are breathtaking.

CONCLUSION
If you are in the market for a 12x binocular these are really a great buy. While they may seem overly expensive compared to the sub-$100 models out there you are getting a unit that will come close to Zeiss and Leica in optics quality but at 1/5 the cost.

Absolutely great binoculars. Exceptionally bright image and great contrast. Close focus 1,8 meter = perfect for insects and butterflies. Robust quality, including 4 lens covers for all the lenses.
Shopping at Amazon went perfect. Binoculars took 5 days to arrive, so please be not misleaded by "Usually ships in 1-2 business days from OutdoorSuperStore". This means that outdoorsuperstore will start processing your order after amazon noticed them that they had succesfully charged your creditcard, which usually takes 1 or 2 days. Outdoorsuperstore then will send the product which will take, depending on the shipping method, another few days...
Summarized: I am completely satisfied, transaction went smooth, delivery took a bit longer due to my misunderstanding of the shipping details, and the product arrived in perfect state!

I was looking for binoculars that I could use for birding and to take on safari in Africa. These binoculars are light enough and their field of vision is great. They work wonderfully during low light which will be great in Africa since we are out early in the morning and late in the evening. I have used them for birding already and I cannot wait to use them in Africa.

I bought these before an antelope hunt in Wyoming. They proved outstanding for seeing detail in long distances. Light enough to not even be a factor if mounted on a harness. The best binocs I have ever owned.
